Cancellation and Refund Policy; Returns. Because products are customized, once you place an order, you may not cancel your order or return your product except as otherwise set forth herein.

While cancellations are rare, our fees for cancellation cover stencil design and processing and are assessed to keep M&H’s overall pricing fair and competitive.

Cancellation and Refunds:

  1. If you wish to cancel your order within one business day of placing the order, you may do so with a full refund and no cancellation fee, provided, however, that you did not order expedited or rush services.
  2. If you wish to cancel your order within two business days after placing the order, you may do so, provided, however, you agree to pay a cancellation fee as follows (and the remaining purchase price will be refunded after the cancellation fee is applied):
    • For stones valued under $500.00, a 10% cancellation fee will apply.
    • For stones valued between $501.00 and $1,000.00, a 7.5% cancellation fee will apply.
    • For stones valued at $1001.00 or greater, a 5% cancellation fee will apply.
3. Orders may not be cancelled or refunded on or after the third business day after placing the order.

 

Engraving and Custom Products.

Prior to placing an order for a customized or engraved gravestone, marker or headstone, you must review the text and content of your submission thoroughly for accuracy. Orders are printed and engraved in their “as submitted” form and you are solely and fully responsible for any text or content you submit as well as final proofing. M&H does not proof or pre-screen content and is not responsible for misspelled or mis-designed submissions. We reserve the right to reject orders and submissions that do not meet M&H policies or requirements. Our production of a product depicting the text or content you submit does not indicate that we approve the text or content. Profane, offensive, libelous, infringing or objectionable words, phrases or content will not be honored and M&H may refuse to accept such content.

How can I check on my order status?

To check the status of your order: Please sign into your account to see the order status page or contact us.

Order Timeline:
Typically orders are received within 20 business days (4 weeks).

Week 1: Review/Design: Your order is received, reviewed and engraving stencil is made.

Week 2: Fabrication: The Headstone or marker is cut to size, engraved and a black lithochromatic paint is applied.

Week 3: Inspection & packaging: The headstone is inspected for quality and packaged pending carrier transport.

Week 4: Shipping & Delivery: Once your order leaves our facility, you will receive an email to track your order. Typically, shipping transport time is 1-7 days for shipping depending on shipping zone.

How does FREE shipping and handling work?

Standard Orders:

Orders are shipped free and insured within the lower 48 states. Typically received in 20 business days.

We can ship directly to you or your cemetery. Simply, add the desired shipping address upon checkout.

After your order is received, it will take approx. 15 business days to be engraved & boxed. After is is picked up by the carrier, you will receive an automated tracking email about 1-7 days before delivery.

Expedited Orders: We do offer an expedited shipping & handling service for an additional fee orders can be expected to arrive in approximately 10 business days.

Hawaii/Alaska: Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii are available for an additional shipping fee.

Custom Orders: Shipping times for custom orders can vary. Typically, custom orders are received in 30 business days.

What should I ask the cemetery before ordering?

We ask that you contact your cemetery directly for more information such as rules & regulations of your cemetery.

  • What types of stones are accepted for at the plot?
  • What are the sizing requirements?
  • Who handles the installation?
  • Are there an other rules and regulations that I need to know before ordering my stone?
  • What is the best receiving address?
  • Are there any special engraving requirements such as a plot number or religious symbol needed on the stone?
