How long does a headstone or marker last?

Headstones and markers last ages; the length can vary dependent on environmental conditions.

What if I am ordering a headstone or marker for a military veteran?

If you are ordering a headstone, marker or medallion for a U.S. Veteran we encourage you to click on the following Veterans Affairs (VA) link to verify if your love one is eligible for a free headstone, marker or medallion, or call the VA at following number 1-(800) 697-6947 for assistance. If your love one is not eligible for a free headstone, marker or medallion, please order one from our website or contact us if you would like a custom order a headstone or marker at info@markersandheadstones.com It will be an honor for us to serve you.

Do you offer a veteran discount on headstones or grave markers?

Yes, we offer a 5% discount on all products, e.g. headstones, grave markers, etc. to all veteran eligible via GovX at checkout.

Do you offer laser engraving?

At the moment, we do not, it is in our plans for the near future to bring other products to our customers.

From the time I place the order, how long will it take for me to receive it?

Our goal is to deliver within 20 business days, due to the economic global impact that we are facing delivery times may vary.

Do you ship worldwide or just in the United States? If so, are there additional shipping fees if shipped outside the continental United States?

We have an in-house freight team that gives us the ability to ship worldwide. We offer free shipping to the continental United states, shipping fees outside the continental United States may vary depending on where the stone is being delivered.

What method do you use to engrave the stone?

We use several methods, the most common one we use is high pressure sand blasting. We engrave each stone with the highest standards and depths to make sure you receive a stone that will last.

Are your stones accepted at every cemetery?

Our stones have been placed in many cemeteries, we strongly encourage that you check with your particular cemetery, to see if they allow the type of stone that you are selecting, as some cemeteries only allow a certain type of stone.

Are your products made in the United States?

Yes, our standard design products we offer are 100% quarried and fabricated in the U.S. If you would like a custom stone that stone may be sourced elsewhere. For custom orders please contact us at info@markersandheadstones.com

Is the packaging used recyclable?

Our goal is to be environmentally friendly, so we made our packaging 100% recyclable. We encourage our customers to recycle all packaging material.

How heavy is the 24”x12”x4” marker?

Depending on the type of stone it is approximately 120 pounds in the box. 

Do you set or install the marker?

No, we do not, we ask that you contact your cemetery to find out more information regarding the install process as each cemetery holds a different set of rules & regulations.

Do you sell wholesale?

Do you deliver to a cemetery or funeral home?

Yes, we deliver to the address that the customer inputs. We ask our customers to coordinate with the cemetery or funeral home where the stone is being delivered to ensure the stone does not get rejected, which may cause additional fees.

The stone I received was damaged, how should I proceed?

In the unlikely event of a damaged stone, we will replace the stone at no cost to you. We only ask that you contact us within 24 hours of the stone being delivered with pictures and your order number.
